About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 24 months of Emergency experience required License: Active Iowa/IA license or compact/Multistate required Certifications: - BLS - Basic Life Support - ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support - PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support - TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Competency Certificate - NIH Stroke Scale Must-Have: - 24 months of current Emergency Department experience required - Drip and titrate experience with cardiac drips, insulin, and heparin required - Telemetry experience required - EPIC electronic medical record experience preferred Description: The role requires a Registered Nurse to work in the Emergency Room. The RN will provide care for patients in critical condition. Responsibilities include screening and assessing patients efficiently. Exceptional communication and collaboration skills are essential. Must be able to work nights as part of a rotating schedule. The RN will participate in holiday rotation requirements. Must comply with all policies and procedures during employment. This position involves a fast-paced work environment. Candidates with prior travel experience are welcome.
