About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: ED/Trauma Duration: 14 weeks Shift: 3rd (Weekend Program Nights - Fri-Sun) Hours per Shift: 36 hours/week Experience: Minimum years of experience in ED/Trauma and telemetry competence License: Current state Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the Nurse Licensure Compact Certifications: - American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) - American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - Trauma Nurse Course Certification (TNCC) - American Heart Association (AHA) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within one year of hire Must-Have: - Clinical competence and experience in the care and management of target patient populations specific to the area of employment - Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice, normally acquired through completion of education at an accredited School of Nursing to be eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse Description: The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients. This role is primarily oriented towards an adult population. The individual must demonstrate competency in the delivery of care relevant to the inpatient environment.
