About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years ICU experience required License: State License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS Must-Have: Floating required Description: This position follows the clinical interview process. Candidates can expect outreach within two hours via phone and text where applicable. Decisions are typically made the same day or by the next business day. Provides critical care to seriously ill patients in the intensive care unit. Monitors vital signs, administers medications, and performs complex procedures. Responds rapidly to medical emergencies. Collaborates with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Staffing ratio is 2:1 with rare instances of 3:1. Staff may float to take holds and occasionally care for med-surg patients at a 5:1 ratio. Must have certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS. Oklahoma state license is required.
