About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Electrophysiology Lab Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Hours (06:00 - 16:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active RN License Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - EP Lab & Cardiac Cath Lab competencies required for this role. - Candidate will be reviewed clinically to determine fit. - Certification and competencies in required areas are mandatory. - COVID-19 and flu vaccinations are required with exemptions allowed. Description: The position involves working in an Electrophysiology Lab. Candidates must be flexible to stay until the last patient is cared for. Call may be required. The lab is equipped with dedicated Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology labs. The unit performs over 6,000 procedures annually. Advanced cardiovascular treatments offered include complex coronary procedures and structural heart procedures. Procedures performed may include ablations, pacemaker/ICD implantation, and cardioversion among others. Candidates should be familiar with a variety of medical equipment and patient care protocols. Compliance with infection prevention and safety measures is essential. This facility maintains a tobacco and fragrance-free environment. Candidates may care for COVID patients.
