About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year required, consideration for candidates with 1 to 1.5 years of experience License: Valid State Compact License required Certifications: Required certifications as per specialty standards Must-Have: LDRP with postpartum experience Description: This position requires a seasoned registered nurse in the specialty of labor and delivery. Candidates must be willing to float between units as per the needs of the facility. On-call shifts may be required, up to one shift every two weeks if census is low. Weekend shifts are required, with expectations to work every other weekend. Block scheduling is not required. RN candidates are expected to adhere to AWHONN staffing standards regarding patient ratios. The role includes working with diverse patient diagnoses and requires interdisciplinary support. Candidates will have experience with a variety of special procedures and equipment relevant to maternal care. Travelers may be expected to float between nearby facilities as needed. All scheduling requests must be communicated upfront during the application process. Inflexibility beyond the contracted schedule may result in termination of the contract. References are required covering the last year of experience. Candidates must respond to specific questions regarding previous employment in similar roles during the application.
