About the Position

Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical (Nights)

Location

York, ME

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 36 hours per week | 3 x 12-hour shifts | No call required | Every other weekend required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit during night shift hours
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Monitor patient status and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure quality patient outcomes
• Accurately document patient information and care provided in accordance with facility standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Previous Medical Surgical nursing experience required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Current BLS/BCLS certification required
• Flu vaccine required per State of Maine mandate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Telemetry experience strongly preferred
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced inpatient environment
