Job Title

Registered Nurse (RN) – LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery & Postpartum)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Onsite | Projected Start: August 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients during the antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases of obstetrical care
• Utilize the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies and procedures
• Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning and delivering safe patient care
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education and ongoing professional development
• Delegate patient care priorities based on the education and experience of available staff
• Float to other units as facility needs require

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure; Florida license or eligibility required (AHCA compliance required for Florida placements)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery, postpartum, nursery, and/or Mother/Baby care
• Minimum 2 years of prior travel nursing experience
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications
• PALS certification required (may be obtained within 30 days of start date if not currently held)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• AWHONN certification preferred; onsite completion may be available
• Experience floating across multiple obstetrical and women's health units
