Job Title

Travel RN – Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing cardiovascular and open heart surgical procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes in the CVOR setting
• Perform scrub and/or circulating duties as required during cardiovascular surgical cases
• Monitor and document patient status throughout the intraoperative phase, responding promptly to changes in condition
• Maintain compliance with facility protocols, sterile technique standards, and regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in good standing
• Minimum of 2 years of CVOR or cardiovascular surgical nursing experience
• Demonstrated proficiency in cardiovascular operating room procedures and protocols
• Ability to work a day shift schedule (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Level II Trauma Center or large acute care hospital environment
• Familiarity with robotic surgery, open heart surgery, or interventional cardiac procedures
• Prior travel nursing experience in a cardiovascular surgical setting
