Registered Nurse – CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform circulating and scrub roles within the cardiovascular operating room
• Assist with cardiac surgical procedures including CABG with endoscopic vessel harvesting (EVH) and chest closure
• Support thoracoscopy and wedge resection procedures
• Assist with valve replacement and repair surgeries including aortic and mitral valve procedures
• Maintain a safe and sterile surgical environment in accordance with facility and regulatory standards

Required Qualifications

• Active New York State (NYS) Registered Nurse license
• Experience in both circulating and scrub roles in a cardiac OR setting
• Demonstrated experience with cardiac surgical procedures including CABG EVH, chest closure, thoracoscopy, wedge resection, and aortic and mitral valve surgeries

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a high-volume cardiovascular surgical program
• Strong knowledge of cardiac surgical instrumentation and equipment
