Contract | Days | Full-Time (36 or 48 hours per week) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned patient or group of patients in accordance with established standards of care and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
• Coordinate patient care with other disciplines and departments
• Apply critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment in all aspects of patient care
• Accurately document patient care activities and assessments within the electronic medical record system

Required Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
• Proficiency in both Epic and Cerner EMR systems, with documented experience in each within the last 5 years
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• Each work history entry must clearly identify the charting system used; if multiple EMR systems were used within a single position, dates clarifying usage of each system must be provided

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Prior experience in an acute care facility setting
• Previous experience as a direct employee of an organization or successful completion of a prior travel or contract assignment
