About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 16 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Valid RN License required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC Must-Have: - Experience caring for ventilated patients - Ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias - Experience in procedural sedation administration/monitoring Description: The position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in the Emergency Room. Candidates will be accepted as first-time travelers. Every other weekend work is required. No call responsibility is expected. Floating within facility/scope of practice may be needed. Candidates will be reviewed clinically to determine fit. Travelers are expected to work scheduled major holidays if they fall during their assignment. Full compliance is required to start on time. Locals are accepted at the same rate. The patient care unit serves a diverse demographic from neonates to geriatrics. The average daily census includes approximately 250 patients. Interdisciplinary support is available, including physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services. The unit manages a range of patient diagnoses, including level 3 trauma and primary strokes. Special equipment used in this unit includes advanced monitoring systems. Applicants should be able to manage high patient ratios, specifically 4 patients per nurse. All requests for time-off must be finalized prior to submission. Compliance documents must be submitted in a timely manner. Please ensure all required certifications and experience are met.
