About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year in acute hospital License: Client RN license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP required; ERM certification preferred Must-Have: Experience in LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) and Newborn Nursery is required. EPIC charting experience is mandatory. Description: The Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive care to patients in all phases of antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn care. Experience in antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care is required. The Registered Nurse must float within skillset as necessary. Rotating weekend coverage is expected, typically every other weekend. On-call duties are required. Previous charge experience preferred. Patient ratios may vary. Candidates must possess skills in administering medications, managing labor and delivery, and performing assessments. The role includes assisting with high-risk deliveries and performing required resuscitation efforts. Nurses will be expected to manage IVs and other procedural tasks in a fast-paced environment. Experience caring for neonates, infants, and adults is necessary. Additional interdisciplinary support services are available within the facility.
