Travel RN – Women Services (OB/GYN)

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within a Women Services unit, including labor, delivery, and postpartum care
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for OB/GYN patients on a 12-hour day shift
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately in accordance with facility standards
• Adhere to all state and facility compliance requirements, including New Mexico-specific regulations

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of New Mexico
• Minimum of 2 years of OB/GYN nursing experience
• All required certifications must be obtained and verified prior to start date
• Must reside 60 miles or greater from the worksite to qualify for travel status
• Must comply with New Mexico State fingerprinting requirements; travelers may begin on a 14-day supervised waiver while results are pending

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a Women Services or Labor & Delivery setting
• Familiarity with Joint Commission accreditation standards and practices
• Experience working in a mid-sized acute care hospital environment
