Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical / Telemetry (Nights)

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of patient care as a member of the interdisciplinary team.
• Deliver direct nursing care to Medical Surgical and Telemetry patients during night shift hours.
• Manage a patient ratio of 5–6 patients per nurse during night shift assignments.
• Utilize the EPIC electronic medical records system to document and coordinate patient care.
• Float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of previous Registered Nurse experience required.
• At least 1 completed travel contract required.
• Active Iowa state RN license required.
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR required.
• Active BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS certifications required.
• Valid driver's license required.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Medical Surgical and/or Telemetry setting in a travel nursing capacity.
• Familiarity with interdisciplinary care team collaboration in an acute care environment.
