Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days — 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM–5:15 PM) and 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM–7:00 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care to surgical patients in a 1:1 patient ratio within a 15-bed operating room unit
• Perform scrub and/or circulating duties as required throughout surgical procedures
• Fulfill on-call obligations of one to two call shifts per week, with 8-hour call shift durations
• Float to an affiliated surgery center as required
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Pennsylvania
• Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room RN experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Ability to meet on-call requirements (one to two calls per week)
• Willingness and ability to float to a surgery center as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with Cerner EMR
• Experience in a high-volume or acute care surgical environment
• Comfort working variable shift lengths (10-hour and 12-hour days)
