Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Onsite | 14-Week Contract

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 10-bed telemetry observation unit for patients undergoing short-stay (24–48 hour) observation and diagnostic rule-out
• Monitor and manage patients with varied medical diagnoses; occasional overflow surgical patients
• Interpret telemetry readings and respond appropriately without reliance on medication drips
• Function autonomously with strong clinical judgment in a fast-paced observation setting
• Float within scope to Medical/Surgical Telemetry as needed to meet facility demands
• Fulfill on-call requirements of 5–6 night shifts per 6-week period (22:00–07:00)

Required Qualifications

• Valid Massachusetts RN license (must be active and in hand at time of submission; pending licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of telemetry nursing experience
• Current ACLS certification
• Current BCLS certification
• Availability for weekend shifts (2–3 weekends per 6-week schedule, Saturday and/or Sunday)
• Finalized requested time off must be submitted at time of application; no additions accepted after signing

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Cerner electronic health records
• 2–3 years of telemetry experience preferred, particularly for first-time travelers
• Familiarity with Epic electronic health records
