Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Nights (3x12-Hour Shifts, 18:45–07:15) | Variable Start Times: 7:00 AM or 9:00 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care within a high-acuity Operating Room setting at an acute care hospital
• Support trauma, neurological, vascular, and orthopedic surgical procedures
• Participate in an on-call rotation distributed equally among nursing staff, which may include up to 6–8 on-call shifts per 6-week period, including nights, evenings, and weekends
• Float between like units within the facility or to nearby affiliate facilities as needed
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health record system
• Work two out of three major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's)

Required Qualifications

• Valid, active California RN license (no pending licenses accepted)
• Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room experience
• Experience in trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic surgical specialties required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Proficiency with Epic charting system
• Willingness to work weekends and participate in on-call rotation

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in an Operating Room setting
• Comfort floating between multiple units or sister facilities
• Familiarity with high-volume, acute care surgical environments
