• Pay Rate: $32 to $40 per hour

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to adult medical-surgical patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician
• Monitor patient conditions and promptly report changes in status to the healthcare team
• Administer medications, IV therapies (within scope of practice), treatments, and wound care as prescribed
• Assist with patient assessments, vital signs, and ongoing monitoring
• Support patients with activities of daily living while promoting comfort, dignity, and independence
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharge processes
• Educate patients and families regarding medications, treatments, and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Follow infection prevention, patient safety, and hospital quality standards
• Collaborate with Registered Nurses, physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe patient care environment

Requirements

• Active California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) License
• Minimum 1 year of recent Medical-Surgical nursing experience
• Current BLS and ACLS Certification required
• Experience with medication administration, wound care, and post-operative patient care preferred
• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient care skills
• Experience using electronic medical record (EMR) systems preferred
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment
