Travel RN – Labor & Delivery

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care for laboring patients through vaginal and cesarean section deliveries
• Deliver postpartum care to newly delivered mothers and newborn care following delivery
• Perform transition nursing responsibilities for newborns
• Monitor patients using GE Monitors, Panda Warmers, Novi, and Neptune equipment
• Document patient care accurately using CPN and Meditech EMR systems
• Float to Mother/Baby unit as needed and willing to serve in a charge nurse capacity

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience including transition, postpartum, and newborn care
• Current ACLS certification
• Current BLS certification
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Ability to maintain patient ratios of 1:1 to 2:1

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior charge nurse experience in a Labor & Delivery setting
• Experience with GE monitoring systems and related obstetric equipment
• Familiarity with CPN and/or Meditech EMR platforms
