Contract | Night Shift | 36–48 hours per week | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and provide nursing care to patients in a critical care setting
- Supervise and delegate care responsibilities to ancillary personnel within their scope of practice
- Apply critical care nursing knowledge and skills to patients with multi-system failure, including those requiring mechanical ventilation, neuro/trauma support, respiratory failure management, and hemodynamic monitoring
- Document patient care accurately and thoroughly using electronic medical record systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of practice
- Associate Degree (A.A. or A.S.) in Nursing or related field
- Passing completion of a Critical Care Nursing course
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS) from an approved vendor
- Current Epic EMR experience required; candidates must have Epic and Cerner experience within the last 5 years — each work history entry must identify the charting system used, with dates provided if multiple EMR systems were used at the same organization
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Minimum six months of previous critical care experience
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification (required within 1 year of hire or transfer into department)
