Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit during night shift hours
• Float to all Medical Surgical floors and potentially to a rehabilitation unit as needed
• Monitor and care for a diverse patient population, which may include COVID-positive patients
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly using the EPIC electronic health records system
• Work one of two upcoming major holidays and surrounding days as required by unit scheduling

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license with no license violations
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience
• Current ACLS certification (AHA or ARC only)
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC only)
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records system
• Ability to comply with a tobacco-free and fragrance-free facility policy

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Strong proficiency with EPIC charting
• Prior experience in a Medical Surgical or Telemetry setting with float responsibilities
• Flexibility with scheduling and willingness to minimize requested time off (maximum 7 days per contract)
