Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Weekend and Holiday Rotation Required | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an Intermediate Care/PCU/Stepdown setting at a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Monitor, manage, and interpret cardiac telemetry and dysrhythmias
• Titrate IV drips and manage peripheral and PICC lines
• Participate in weekend and holiday rotation schedules as required
• Float to other campus locations within the health system as needed
• Complete unit-based orientation modules as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required; first-time travelers are welcome
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications required
• Cardiac telemetry experience required, including management and interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Experience with PCU patient ratios (1:5) required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Must pass a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed)
• Must not reside within 50 miles of the facility; current driver's license required to verify address
• No open background check cases permitted; active license must be in hand at submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with peripheral line care and management as well as PICC line management
• Familiarity with titrating drips in an intermediate or step-down care environment
• Ability to adapt to floating assignments across multiple campus locations
