Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:30) | Every other weekend and every other holiday required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
• Independently read and interpret telemetry monitoring
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for ED patients across varying acuity levels
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Accurately document patient care activities using EPIC electronic health records
• Float to other units as needed per facility policy

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (any state) or valid compact RN license
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department nursing experience
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
• Ability to independently read and interpret telemetry
• EPIC electronic health records charting experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification strongly preferred
• Experience working in a mid-to-large inpatient hospital environment
