Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift (3x12 Hours, 7:00–19:30) | 36 Hours per Week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical Telemetry unit during day shift hours
• Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms and respond appropriately to cardiac changes
• Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Complete required orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate evaluations
• Participate in holiday rotation, working at least every other holiday as required

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license – must hold a permanent Ohio license or a Compact state license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 18 months of permanent, recent Medical Surgical Telemetry experience
• Active AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification in hand at time of submission
• Active AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification in hand at time of submission
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation (two attempts maximum)
• No open background or license hits; all background findings are subject to facility review

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 18 months of Med/Surg Telemetry experience obtained within a single facility location
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring systems and cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Experience working in a high-acuity or fast-paced hospital environment
