Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend | Holidays as Needed | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for a primarily Medical Surgical population, including observation patients, surgical patients, and surgical observation cases
• Manage patients with respiratory conditions, general medical surgical diagnoses, diabetes (including new diabetics and patients with diabetes-related complications), palliative care, end-of-life, and hospice needs
• Monitor and care for psychiatric observation patients as assigned
• Document all patient care activities accurately using EPIC EMR
• Float to other campus locations within the health system as needed
• Adhere to a zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Must pass a compliance EKG exam during onboarding (2 attempts allowed)
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Must not reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility (local candidates not eligible)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience as a Charge RN
• Background in telemetry or tele-capable unit settings
