About the Position

Registered Nurse – Oncology

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | 3x12-hour shifts (36 hours/week)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to oncology patients in an acute care hospital setting
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and chemotherapy treatments in accordance with facility protocols
• Perform IV insertions and manage vascular access
• Monitor and assess patient responses to treatment, reporting changes in condition to the care team
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Proficiency in IV insertion

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Chemotherapy certification
• Prior experience in an oncology nursing setting
