Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 0530–1600, 4 shifts per week plus call availability; on-call opportunities available Monday through Friday as well as weekends

Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care and monitoring to patients recovering from surgical or procedural interventions
• Assess and manage patient pain, vital signs, and level of consciousness in the immediate post-operative period
• Collaborate with anesthesia and surgical teams to ensure safe patient transitions from the OR to the PACU
• Respond to and manage post-operative complications in a timely and clinically appropriate manner
• Participate in on-call shifts as scheduled, including weekday and weekend availability

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio or compact licensure eligibility
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Prior PACU or post-operative nursing experience
• Ability to work a day shift schedule including on-call requirements

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CPAN (Certified Post Anesthesia Nurse) certification
• Experience with a high-volume or fast-paced surgical environment
