Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Onsite | Every Other Weekend Required | Holidays as Needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to a primarily Medical Surgical population, including observation patients, surgical patients, surgical observation, and palliative, end-of-life, and hospice patients
• Manage patients with respiratory conditions, general medical surgical diagnoses, psychiatric observation needs, and diabetes-related diagnoses including new diabetics and patients with complications
• Accurately document patient care and clinical information using EPIC EMR
• Float to other campus locations within the health system as operationally needed
• Adhere to a zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
• Complete required non-billable orientation modules, which are unit-based and average 2–4 hours

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Must pass a compliance EKG exam during onboarding (2 attempts allowed)
• EPIC EMR experience required
• No open background check cases permitted; current driver's license required to verify address

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience as a Charge RN
• Experience with telemetry monitoring and EKG interpretation
