Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Days 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | 36 or 48 hours per week guarantee available | Projected Start: August 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provides routine and complex nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Addresses psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families in accordance with scope of practice.
• Administers medications and treatments per appropriate protocol; monitors for side effects and effectiveness of prescribed treatments.
• Documents patient history, symptoms, medications administered, and care provided.
• Assesses learning needs and provides education to patients, family members, and/or caregivers; identifies issues and available resources.
• Makes appropriate assignments and delegates to other care providers as needed to manage the clinical situation.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in state of employment or valid compact license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
• Ability to practice independently in a Medical/Surgical clinical setting.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex and contingent clinical nursing situations.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Medical/Surgical nursing specialty preferred.
