Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Penn Yan, NY. As an ED RN, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality, compassionate care to patients in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities of the Emergency Department Registered Nurse

• Assess patient needs, prioritize urgent or emergent care, and provide direct care accordingly
• Utilize invasive and non-invasive procedures to manage emergency situations
• Conduct primary and secondary assessments using observation, interviews, and data
• Provide information and address anxiety, pain, and safety concerns
• Prepare patients and families for diagnostic procedures and treatments
• Teach and delegate tasks while ensuring compliance with infection prevention strategies

Requirements of the Emergency Department Registered Nurse

• Current NYS RN Licensure
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and Stroke Certification (AHA or RQI only)
• Minimum of one-year acute hospital experience as a registered professional nurse
• Two years of experience in the Emergency Department
