Shifts: 12-hour shifts, 7am - 7pm, 3 weekend shifts in 4 weeks

Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated RN specialized in Med Surg for a travel assignment in Fort Wayne, IN. This role involves providing comprehensive general medical and surgical nursing care in a dynamic acute care environment. Candidates will be equipped to handle a wide range of patient conditions and utilize diverse medical equipment.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop care plans
• Facilitate inter-professional communication and utilize electronic health records (EHR)
• Manage IV therapy, including pumps and various drips
• Operate specialized equipment such as wound vacs, feeding tubes, and telemetry
• Float to medical units as needed, maintaining patient ratios of 1:5-6

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• At least 1.5 years of Level 1, Level 2, or tertiary experience
• At least 1 year of experience at a facility with 450+ beds
• BLS certification through AHA
• IN State or compact RN license
