About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Med/Surg Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Current RN license Certifications: BLS, NIH Stroke Scale Must-Have: Advanced skills required for Med/Surg procedures Description: Traveler shall be scheduled in accordance with facility policy. It is expected that the traveler will work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees. The unit has a total of 30 beds, currently operating at 18 due to renovations. Patient ratios are 6-7:1. The unit employs a team nursing approach with support staff available during shifts. There is a focus on safety with hourly safety rounds and bedside shift report required. Floating to like units may be required as need dictates. The facility is known for its emphasis on teamwork and offers an excellent work-life balance.
