About the Position

Job Title: LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: LTAC Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years recent Tele/LTAC experience in a hospital setting License: Indiana or multi-state compact RN license Certifications: ACLS & BLS certifications (must be through the American Heart Association) Must-Have: Vent/trach experience Description: The LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing care to patients. Care is provided by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy and procedures. The Registered Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills and scientific judgment. Leadership is essential in the anticipation and planning for the safe delivery of care. Clinical competencies are maintained through continuing education. Patient care priorities are delegated based on the education and experience of the staff available. Direction and supervision are provided for assigned personnel delivering patient care.
