About the Position
Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years required, First-time travelers accepted License: Active nursing license required Certifications: BLS required, ACLS preferred Must-Have: - EKG exam required for all RNs regardless of specialty - EPIC charting system experience required Description: This is a night shift position consisting of three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. Travelers will be required to float across various facilities as needed. The patient population will primarily consist of medical-surgical patients, with some telemetry capabilities. Responsibilities include caring for observation patients, those with respiratory conditions, and managing general medical surgical diagnoses. Candidates must be flexible with scheduling and adhere to a strict policy regarding tardiness and unexcused absences. A Pass-Fail EKG exam is mandatory during onboarding. Preferred qualifications include a background as a Charge RN. BLS certification is required, and ACLS is preferred. Daily census expectations and patient ratios will be communicated separately. Additional interdisciplinary support is provided from various healthcare teams. Patients can include adults and geriatric individuals. Primary duties may involve the administration of medications and coordination of patient care.
