The nurse delivers patient care by incorporating the principles of Relationship Centered Care. Patient care is managed through the application of the nursing process based upon theory, research, and evidence-based practice. The nurse assesses and evaluates patient care needs utilizing critical thinking skills in care management. The role requires collaboration with the interdisciplinary healthcare team. The Clinical Nurse develops, implements, and evaluates the patient care plan. Prioritization of patient care activities, including education and post-hospital care planning, is essential. Effective communication with patients, families, and the healthcare team is crucial. The nurse manages assignments and demonstrates resource allocation effectively. Patient experience is enhanced through patient-centered care practices. The ability to establish and maintain therapeutic relationships with patients and families is necessary. The nurse uses evidence-based practices to understand patients' perceptions of care. Service recovery is initiated for patients and families with concerns. The nurse demonstrates compassion, respect, and active listening. Quality and safety practices focus on efficient, patient-centered care.
