About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Operating Room Profession: RN Specialty: OR Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: NOC (18:45 – 17:15) Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum 2 Years License: Registered Nurse (Compact Accepted) Certifications: BLS-AHA; ACLS-AHA Must-Have: Level 1 trauma experience (2 years at a level 1) Experience in GYN, Spine, Hands, Neuro, Ortho, Oncological Breast, and Microvascular cases Description: Candidates must have 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an Operating Room setting. BLS and ACLS certifications are required. Experience in Level 1 trauma centers is essential. Candidates should have skills in GYN, Spine, Hands, Neuro, Ortho, Oncological Breast, and Microvascular cases. Scrub skills are highly preferred. Experience with Orthopedic cases, particularly with Robotics, is also highly preferred. Call shifts may be required based on call outs. Travelers are expected to take 2-3 call shifts within a 6-week period. Flexibility to float to weekends may be required based on unit needs. Availability for approximately 4-6 weekends per 4-week schedule may vary based on departmental requirements.
