Job Title: Emergency Department Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00 - 07:00 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: RN Certifications: Required Certifications: RN Must-Have Skills/Experience: Peripheral IV experience Stroke experience Sepsis experience STEMI experience Description: This position is in a fast-paced, high-acuity emergency department. The department handles a variety of patient populations. Patient ratios are typically 1:4, with surging ratios of 1:5. The unit is equipped with electronic health records. Supervisors oversee daily operations and support staff. Candidates must work 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week period. No call requirements are involved in the role. The ideal candidate should exhibit strong critical thinking and teamwork skills.
