About the Position

Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Post Partum/Mom Baby Duration: 8 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 3 years License: RN Certifications: ACLS or ALS-OB, NRP, EFM, BLS Must-Have Skills/Experience: Fetal Monitoring and Assessment Emergency Response Postpartum Care Time Management Description: Candidates must be able to start within 7-10 days from offer acceptance. Weekly orientation occurs on Mondays. 48 hours per week guarantees available. Blocked scheduling is available. The unit profile consists of 9 beds with a patient ratio of 1:1. The department will manage a variety of cases, including normal spontaneous labor, preterm labor, gestational hypertension, preeclampsia, placenta previa, placental abruption, fetal distress, umbilical cord prolapse, and postpartum hemorrhage. The environment requires adaptability, teamwork, attention to detail, stamina, strong communication skills, and empathy. The electronic health record systems used are Centricity and Meditech.
