About the Position

Weekly orientation is available on Mondays. 48-hour work week guarantees are available. Blocked scheduling is available. Unit profile includes Labor and Delivery with a capacity of 9 beds. Patient ratios are 1:1. The equipment includes EHR systems such as Centricity and Meditech. Supervision is provided by Kendra Smith. The patient population includes adults. Common diagnoses and treatments include Normal Spontaneous Labor, Preterm Labor, Gestational Hypertension, Preeclampsia, Placenta Previa, Placental Abruption, Fetal Distress, Umbilical Cord Prolapse, and Postpartum Hemorrhage. Required personality traits include adaptability, being a team player, attention to detail, stamina, strong communication skills, and empathy. Dress code: Scrub color is ceil blue. Unacceptable attire includes non-compliant scrub colors, scrubs with slogans, graphics, offensive content, and inappropriate footwear.
