About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: OB/GYN Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 3 years License: Active RN License Certifications: ACLS or ALS-OB, NRP, EFM, BLS Must-Have Skills/Experience: Fetal monitoring and assessment Emergency response Postpartum care Time management Description: Weekly orientation on Mondays. Blocked scheduling available. Unit profile includes a 3rd floor with 9 beds. Patient ratios are 1:1. Electronic health record system includes Centricity and Meditech. Supervision provided by a registered nurse manager. Patient population is primarily adults. Common diagnoses and treatments involve normal spontaneous labor, preterm labor, gestational hypertension, preeclampsia, placenta previa, placental abruption, fetal distress, umbilical cord prolapse, and postpartum hemorrhage. Candidates should possess adaptability, be a team player, have attention to detail, stamina, strong communication skills, and empathy. Scrub color required is ceil blue. Non-compliant scrub colors, slogans, graphics, or offensive content are not acceptable. Inappropriate footwear is also not permitted.
