About the Position

Job Title: Rehab RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Rehabilitation Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00-19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent experience in specialty License: Registered Nurse license (State or Compact license) Certifications: AHA BLS or Red Cross certification Must-Have: - Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals - Must accept a schedule of 36 or 48 hours per week - Required to work holidays and every other weekend Description: Join a dynamic multi-disciplinary team in the Rehabilitation Pavilion. Help patients who have experienced strokes, hip fractures, or pulmonary issues improve their functional abilities and independence. Patients continue to receive hospital care and medical supervision throughout their rehabilitation program. Each patient receives continuous medical monitoring and care by professional staff. Providers round daily during patients' stays. Patient recovery is supported by state-of-the-art therapy equipment. Equipment includes body weight support systems for safe walking recovery, treadmills for maximum repetitions, and specialized machines for improving reaction time and visual processing. Education required includes an associate degree in nursing. Applications from candidates with 18 months of experience will be considered, provided they have 1 year of recent experience in the field of specialty.
