About the Position

Job Title: Med/Surg Tele RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Med/Surg Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required. License: Must have a permanent Ohio license or compact license in hand at the time of submission. Certifications: BLS and ACLS certification required. Must-Have: Must work at least every other holiday. Must achieve an acceptable score on ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate during orientation. BG hits of any kind are reviewed, and travelers with an open case will not be accepted. Must be nicotine-free (applicable to travelers outside of nursing and CST roles). Description: This position is for a Med/Surg Tele RN on day shifts. The duration of the contract is 13 weeks, with a requirement for 36 hours per week. Candidates must have a minimum of 18 months of combined permanent experience in the specialty. All required certifications must be active and in hand at the time of submission. References from a manager or supervisor in the specialty applying for are required. Nurses and CSTs are exempt from nicotine-free facility requirements temporarily. Travelers may remain on assignment for up to 18 months, with a 6-month break required before returning unless client approval is obtained. Modules and training will be required as part of the orientation and ongoing certification.
