About the Position

Registered Nurse – Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-hour shifts | 36 hours per week | 13-week assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a telemetry unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 4:1, occasionally 5:1
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data for assigned patients
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes
• Complete a proctored rhythm identification test upon start of assignment (two attempts permitted; not multiple choice)

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of Telemetry nursing experience within the past 3 years
• Strong cardiac assessment and rhythm identification skills
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in an acute care hospital telemetry setting
• Demonstrated proficiency with cardiac monitoring equipment and interpretation
