Registered Nurse – Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-hour shifts (36 hours/week) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a telemetry unit with a standard nurse-to-patient ratio of 4:1, occasionally 5:1
• Continuously monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes
• Complete a proctored rhythm identification test upon start of assignment (two attempts permitted; not multiple choice)

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum of 2 years of Telemetry nursing experience within the past 3 years
• Strong cardiac assessment and monitoring skills
• Ability to pass a proctored rhythm identification examination
• Must not reside within 50 miles of the facility (no local travelers)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in an acute care telemetry setting with high patient acuity
• Familiarity with cardiac arrhythmia identification and intervention protocols
