Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights (3x12 Hours, 18:30–07:00) | Onsite | 36 hours per week | Every other weekend required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with a 1:7 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Work night shift hours on a 36/36 schedule with every other weekend requirement
• Float to other units as required by facility needs
• Actively participate in nursing student support and clinical education alongside the provision of clinical care
• Complete required orientation modules, including online computer-based learning (CBLs), during the designated orientation period

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in-hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical and/or Medical Surgical Telemetry experience
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility (local candidates not accepted)
• Must be willing and able to complete a drug test within 12–14 calendar days prior to start date
• Must comply with CDC facial hair guidelines for fit testing purposes

Preferred Experience / Skills

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Experience in both Medical Surgical and Telemetry settings is strongly preferred
