Registered Nurse – PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Rotating Shift (Days and Nights, 3x12-Hour Shifts) | Onsite | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit setting
• Work rotating day and night shifts, including every other holiday and 3 weekends per six-week schedule
• Float to NICU and Acute Care Pediatrics units based on staffing needs, within scope of practice
• Complete specialty-specific orientation modules during onboarding
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active or pending Virginia RN license (must be in hand by the Wednesday prior to start date)
• Current BLS certification
• Current PALS certification
• Epic EMR experience required
• Nursys verification required at time of submission
• References required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Pediatric cardiac experience
• BSN preferred
• Prior NICU or Acute Care Pediatrics experience
