Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 18 months in specialty within the past 3 years License: GA or compact license in hand Certifications: Rhythm identification test required (proctored) Must-Have: Peritoneal dialysis experience required; Insulin drip experience required Description: Mapping: Med Surg Length of assignment: 13 weeks Available start dates: Every Monday Scrubs: Navy blue 50-mile radius - No local travelers Top 10 diagnoses/procedures: CHF, congenital heart, LVADs, angioplasty, dysrrhythmias, shortness of breath, heart transplant, atrial fibrillation, cardiogenic shock, coronary artery disease, chest pain Top 10 medications: Vasoactive drips such as Amiodarone, Dobutamine, Cardizem, Milrinone, Lasix, Bumex, Heparin, Insulin Requires experience with peritoneal dialysis Candidates will be required to take a rhythm identification test (proctored) once they start. They get two chances. It is not multiple choice.
