About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 18 months of nursing experience in an emergency department environment. Must have ED experience within the past six months. License: State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license. Certifications: - BLS - ACLS - Telemetry - PALS - NIHSS - CEU Contact Stroke (4 hours) Must-Have: - Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans. - Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services. - Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel. Description: Our Emergency Department RNs must be ready to care for patients when they need us most. In addition to providing specialized and innovative services, our ED RNs are equipped to handle a variety of emergency situations for patients of all ages. ED nurses are trained in dealing with trauma situations requiring quick and decisive actions. Ideal candidates must be able to quickly and accurately assess incoming patients with both physical and mental health conditions. They should also be able to prioritize injuries and medical needs accordingly.
