About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active RN license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Epic experience required Description: The Registered Nurse will work in a Progressive Care Unit. The position requires a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience. Epic experience is mandatory for this role. Candidates must hold current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications. The nurse will work in a fast-paced environment providing care to patients with varying degrees of acuity. Critical thinking and strong assessment skills are essential. The nurse will be responsible for patient advocacy and safe care practices. Experience with level II trauma is required. Candidates should possess skills in a variety of medical procedures and protocols. Floating to Med/Tele and Emergency Department may be required to meet facility needs. The unit serves a diverse patient population. High patient ratios may be expected during shifts. Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach are necessary. The role may include administrative duties related to patient care. Candidates must provide two professional references, one being a manager. A complete work history with no employment gaps greater than 30 days is required. The ability to manage complex patient cases and respond to emergencies is essential.
