About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiac Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in Cardiac Telemetry License: Active state nursing license required Certifications: BCLS and NIH required; ACLS and CPI preferred Must-Have: Telehealth experience and ability to read rhythms Experience with cardiac medications and drips (no titration) Description: The role involves providing nursing care for patients in cardiac telemetry. You will monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms while managing care for patients. You will administer medications and create care plans for patients with cardiac conditions. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary support teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. You will participate in patient education and support efforts for recovery and rehabilitation. You are expected to float within your scope to meet facility needs. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 5-6. You will be scheduled for 6 weekend shifts every 6 weeks. This position may involve working with various cardiac telemetry equipment. Essential skills include monitoring for dysrhythmias, managing IVs, and patient assessments.
